I'm very excited to introduce you to my Craft House!  I hope you will join me someday soon and scrap, stamp, or craft for the weekend.  This has long been a dream of mine, as I love the thought of spending time with old and new friends laughing, crafting, relaxing and being with "just the girls!"

This is designed for our special time to get away from the pressures of work and family, get some projects completed, let our hair down and stay in our jammies all weekend, if we want!

Just back from the Stampin' Up! Convention!

Oh my my!  Where do I begin?  There are so many exciting things to share with you!

First, the new catalog!  While it's not available to the general public until August 11, it's awesome!  The best we've had in layout, variety, products, etc!  You will love it!  If you want one, you can pick one up from me for $5 or place a $50 order with me and get it free!  As soon as it's also available online, I will update my blog with the link.

Did I say SIZZIX????  Yes, you heard me right!  Stampin' Up! has partnered with Sizzix!  How long have wanted that.  Of course, there are some exclusive SU! dies available, but we also have a large offering of their other dies, which are getting harder and harder to find in the marketplace as more and more scrapbook stores close their doors!  We will carry the Big Shot (in exclusive SU! colors), too! Have you sampled the Decor Elements yet?  Oh my goodness!  This is one of the hottest trends out there!  Vinyl cling for home decor!  I saw really cool things done with these at convention and Phase II of Decor Elements not only includes really neat new styles, but colors!  Click here for current information.  Again, as new product becomes available, I will post it.

We have a completely new line of Designer Series papers.  In my opinion, they are the best we've ever had.

Several new punches.  They are "must-haves" on my wishlist.

And, for the first time ever, we have a sale on some of the NEW STAMP SETS that are debuting.  This is unheard of!  But, here they are!

I don't have time to write a nice note right now my slavemaster (aka husband) barely is letting me out of his sight today as we are redoing my 15 yr old daughter's bedroom while she is gone, but I wanted to let you know that SU! just announced some of the retiring items and are offering them at a 25% discount!  This is really AWESOME.  In ten years of being with SU!, I don't ever recall them discounting the retiring accessories.

Papercrafting Fun!

Last week, my whole department at work had to move.  So, in the spirit of fun (for which Southwest Airlines is known) we all decided to have a work cube decorating contest.  I decided to join in because I spend about 9-10 hours a day surrounded by gray walls.  I don't have pictures to share of my cube, but I decided to go with a shabby chic theme.  However, instead of the traditional pinks or yellow, I found fabric in greens, teals, brown, ochre and cream.  It's a florally, old-fashioned style print.  I hung the fabric on all the cubed walls.  I put a crocheted doily on my CPU to cover up it's ugly black, did some floral arrangements, etc.  Well, it still has to be a workspace and I do a lot of work!  I have lots of files and vertical file holders on my desk.  So, I found some items at Hobby Lobby that I could use as file folder holders (say that ten times real fast!) to make it a little cuter.  Anyway, when I'm done I'll post some pictures of my "home away from home," but I decided that it would make things more authentically chic looking if my file folders weren't just drab folders.  While I work with too many too many folders to decorate them all, I decided I could make the front folders of my folder racks look in keeping with my new cube look.  Some of the products (hodgepodge hardware, pretties and some of the paper) are from Stampin' Up!.  Some of it is from the vast supply of paper I inherited from my mom.  Here's what I've done so far.

Oops!  I didn't meet some of my goals this quarter with Stampin' Up!  I got too busy and didn't pay attention!  So....in order to meet my goals, I'm giving anyone who order and pays for anything in the current catalog or the Occasions Mini by June 22  my demostrator discount of 20%!  So, basically, you can be a demonstrator for this order!  Since you are getting it at my cost, you will either need to pick your order up from me or meet me at work unless you want to pay additional shipping to your house.

Graduation Time!

I write with a somewhat heavy heart today.  My second son graduates from high school this week, and while I am so proud of him, I am also going to miss him tremendously as he leaves for college this summer.  My oldest son graduated high school last year and I'm still in mourning from that!

They are great kids and will do very well.  (How could they help it?  They had great parents!)  Well, maybe we made a lot of mistakes along the way, but we couldn't have loved them more.

Of course, I've received tons of graduation announcements from friends all over the country that know us from different youth get-togethers and church events.  So, I thought I'd share my graduation card I am sending to them.  I'm customizing each one with their school colors.

Bermuda Pics

Oops!  I've been busy and I forgot to post a couple Bermuda pictures.  This first one is one I took from the ferry coming into Hamilton.   

All the houses and shops are wonderful pastels.  And everywhere you look there is color!

And the water was so clear and so many beautiful shades of greens and blues!

There is nothing like a cruise! Especially a Free One!

Okay, I am now completely spoiled.  Bermuda is absolutely beautiful (I am ranking it in my top four favorite countries that I've visited), Stampin' Up! is an awesome company, Holland America is the best cruise line I've enjoyed thus far,  and I can't wait for the next all-expenses paid trip to the Southern Caribbean!

If you have ever thought to travel, but thought, I just can't afford it, hop on the SU! bandwagon and earn it!  While it is work, it's like being paid to play with your stamps and scrapbooks, and it will be the experience of a lifetime!

Don't have a lot of time?  There are lots of ways to earn a great income with Stampin' Up!  I'll help you with ideas that will fit your busy lifestyle.  I met women on the cruise who not only work full-time, they have small children with special needs and do a lot of community work in addition to being demos who didn't allow any excuses to keep them from being cruise achievers.  This is not out of the reach of any of us!

About the house and Grapevine

Randee's Craft House is located in the heart of downtown Historic Grapevine.  It is just a short 1.5 block walk to Main Street where there is a variety of fun and exclusive shops to explore, not to mention food, wine and coffee shops!

It is also just a short drive to JoAnn's, Michael's and some other craft stores in the area, along with any other type of shopping you may wish to do.  Grapevine Mills is about 10 minutes away.

Flying in?  No problem!  Grapevine is about 5 minutes from the North exit of the DFW airport and about 20 minutes from Love Field!

This truly is the perfect location for the crafting get-away weekend!

Hello from beautiful Bermuda!

Hello Friends!

Here’s a little update from beautiful Bermuda where I am enjoying an all expenses paid cruise, courtesy of Stampin’ Up!

The ship is absolutely beautiful and the waitstaff the best I have ever had in all the cruises I have enjoyed!  I think I’m gaining 5 lbs a day, though!

I return from my cruise on April 5^th.  If you want something Stampin’ Up!, go online to the catalog (if you don’t have one already) and e-mail me your wish list!  Since I’m enjoying a ship, your shipping is on me!  Get your order to me via e-mail before April 6^th.  I’ll e-mail you back your totals when you get home!

I’ll post pictures of Bermuda on my next update.  In the meantime, here are a couple for fun.  One is a picture of myself and my two friends who are on the cruise.  Orange is definitely an “in” color!  I will post a picture of New York from my bus window and the beautiful lady as we pulled out of the harbor.
